Classroom 2.0 LIVE! meets the Australia Series

Wednesday evening the Classroom 2.0 LIVE! co-hosts (Peggy George, Lorna Costantini and myself) presented with Anne Mirtschin and Carole McCulloch of Australia as part of the many presenters featured in the Global Education Conference. We had a wonderful time and about 25 people join our session. Anne and Carole co-host several webinars as part of their, “The Australia Series” featured at LearnCentral.

Our presentation featured the ways we each prepare for our webinars, find guests and communicate behind the scenes in preparation for our weekly webinars. Both webinar series have many international guests joining the sessions, serving as presenters and participating in conversations about topics relevant to teaching our students and colleagues about global collaboration and connections.

As in all of our Classroom 2.0 LIVE! webinars, we featured a Gl.am link in honor of the ‘glamorous’ co-hosts: http://gl.am/D4k3c. We also created a VoiceThread as one of the follow up resources and invite everyone to post their comments and reflections to the VoiceThread regardless of whether you joined our session last night or viewed the recording of the presentation. The VoiceThread asks ways that you connect globally and requests you share your favorite web tools to connect with other educators. The slidedeck is displayed below the VoiceThread.

In the event you have been under a rock or missed hearing about the Global Education Conference because you just started using the internet, all of the sessions were recorded and will be available  for you to watch and share with your colleagues. The list of recordings can be found here.
